Minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and energy efficiency grades for gas cooking appliances
1 Scope
This document specifies the energy efficiency grades, technical requirements and test methods for gas cooking appliances.
This document is applicable to domestic gas stoves and integration cooking appliances (hereinafter collectively referred to as "domestic gas cooking appliances") with nominal heat inputs not exceeding 5.23 kW using city gas. It is also applicable to commercial gas cooking appliances such as wok ranges with nominal heat inputs ≤60 kW, commercial ovens for cooking with nominal heat inputs ≤80 kW, as well as water tank type steaming ovens, steam working ovens and steam generators with nominal heat inputs ≤80 kW (hereinafter collectively referred to as "commercial gas cooking appliances").
This document is not applicable to gas cooking appliances used in vehicles.
Note: The nominal heat inputs of domestic gas stoves and integration cooking appliances refer to the heat inputs of a single burner; and those of wok ranges, commercial ovens for cooking, steaming ovens and steam generators refer to the heat inputs of a single combustion unit.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given in GB 16410 and GB 35848 and the following apply.
3.1
minimum allowable values of energy efficiency for gas cooking appliances
minimum allowable thermal efficiency of gas cooking appliances under the test conditions specified in this document
4 Energy efficiency grades
4.1 Domestic gas cooking appliances
The energy efficiency of domestic gas cooking appliances is divided into three grades, among which Grade 1 represents the highest energy efficiency. The thermal efficiency values with regard to the grades shall not be lower than those specified in Table 1.
