Q/TTPT001-2019 Stainless steel wire rods
1 Scope
This technical specification is applicable to stainless steel wire rods. It can be used as the final inspection standard for stainless steel wire rods.
This standard specifies the order information, classification, dimensions, shape, weight permissible tolerance, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate of stainless steel wire rods.
This standard is applicable to stainless steel wire rods with diameters ranging from φ5.0mm to φ38.0mm.

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.
3.1 online solution treatment
online solution treatment of austenitic stainless steel refers to a heat treatment method in which hot-rolled wire rods are drawn into wires and then heated in an online solution furnace, followed by high-power air cooling or water spray cooling to obtain the required microstructure and properties
3.2 offline solution treatment
offline solution treatment of austenitic stainless steel refers to a heat treatment method in which hot-rolled wire rods are cooled and then transferred to an offline solution furnace for solution treatment to obtain the required microstructure and properties
